Green lake is a good recreational lake, so it is wide open for
water sports of all kinds, and is also a good swimming lake.There
are lots of fun things to do in and around this area. Some natural
phenomenoms such as The Chasm, Crater Lake, Mahood Falls, etc.
Horseback riding is available in several locations. There are
lots of good trails out back for hiking or biking. Fishing is at
your front door and at many small lakes and streams in the area.
Notable lakes: Watch, Irish, Fawn, Little Scott, Moose, Last Course,
Jim Hammer and many more. Golf is nearby - 18 holes at the 108 Resort
and a beautiful 18 hole course in Cache Creek. There is a good 9
hole course in 100 Mile called Marmot Ridge (pictured below).Boating
on the lake includes kneeboarding, water skiing, tubing and swimming.
Canoeing and kayaking are great. The waters og Green Lake are calm
and tend to be quite warm during the summer.
